James Halsall
Application Developer
I have been developing software since the age of 13 when I would work on Visual Basic to create simple desktop programs for school. As I matured I began to use Java and was taught programming semantics and theory at university, providing me with a solid understanding of all principles and practices of a good developer.
At Bitopia I specialise in the use of PHP 5 and ExtJS to create Bespoke Business Software for our wide range of clients. I also have experience in integrating our software with 3rd party applications such as Sage 50, and in deploying to both Linux and Windows Server environments. I am also Microsoft Certified.
My main interests lie in music, film, basketball and coding practices.
